Stop to “Smell the Roses”
It was October 2014. I had the pleasure to attend a regional meeting for work in this magnificent city that surprised me with its nostalgic and unique beauty. At the time I had been doing stairs training for about a year and learned that the Buda side of town had so many of them.
On our last day, decided to venture out on my own, cross over the Danube River to explore them and reflect on the opportunity given. As I was going down the steps, little would I know that this small iron door peaking out of its autumn leaves wall made me stop to “smell the roses” and be part of this lucky project I’m on.
When was the last time something made you stop and smell the roses?
