While exploring the Castillo de San Marcos…

I came across these magnificent cypress doors built by the American Army to protect and control the Sally Port for 150 years (1821-1955).

Today, it is the fort that protects them – isn’t it ironic how the circle of life even applies to doors? How have you lucked out today with an “aha moment?”
