Light of the World

Tonight in Colombia a beautiful Catholic tradition called “La Noche de las Velitas” (Little Candle Day) is being celebrated by lighting candles and lanterns on front doors of homes and businesses honoring the Eve of the Immaculate Conception. The origins I was told has different beginnings but the beauty of it is that it opens doors to bring joy and keep a tradition alive generation after generation. How lucky am that I planned a business trip here today not knowing and turns out to be during such a unique and special day!
