While on an impromptu getaway to Seattle these last few days…

I noticed most homes have porches with such pretty doors that open to beautiful yet simple gardens in every neighborhood. I also noticed even though it’s so grey and cloudy, the smallest garden brightens the street just steps away from the front door. And if you’re lucky enough to come across roses, you can’t help but to stop to smell, take pictures and just enjoy the moment.

When was the last time you truly just stopped for a few minutes and be grateful for the present moment?
