Do whatever You want!

One of the perks of solo travel is you get to do whatever you want, literally! You do as you please, no one holding you back besides yourself. You challenge your mind, body, spirit to open and close doors. You are your own guide, your bff, your protector, your everything! You have nothing holding you back but a chance to discover, learn and survive the journey to new doors into your life.

Many don’t understand my journeys, hey at times neither do I but I am lucky that I have found the courage to go and see the world as I feel like. Yes of course it’s fun to share vacations and mini trips with others but it’s not all roses and rainbows, you know that! Yes, I’ve been in strange situations, some romantic, some exciting, some I’ll never tell, some frustrating, some dangerous but I have always managed and have felt protected – good instincts and guardian angels I guess. How many can say that?  So go open the doors to whenever, wherever, eat whatever, take a million pictures, laugh, don’t be afraid to open that door to get away even if for a day – do it for you!  Even if have a family that depends on you, you aren’t alone in life ever! There are good people that are here to help us open new doors or help close bad ones – your heart will thank you for it.

I definitely lucked out and especially when I decided to open the doors to Granada on my own. I had a choice to be accompanied but it was false and so I chose the riskier road, yet in turn, I found home. Left a part of my heart there that I just can’t and won’t shake off!
