Opened Doors

A week ago today, my family life changed!

These front doors remained opened all day to gather in a celebration to honor the life of my special, beautiful and so strong aunt, Tia Xiomara. She always remembered everyone and with lots of mixed emotions now it was our turn to remember her.

These opened doors symbolized her faith, love, kindness, forgiveness and strength.

Though my heart has been sadden knowing for so long she’s been ill, she truly believed the doors of heaven would welcomed her and I too know it.  So if you are lucky enough to have today, remember to open doors to those special people in your life, to opportunities, to possibilities and to new journeys.
